Catching up

Sorry it's been so long since I posted. It's been a crazy month so far. Colin turned 2 on Saturday so it's been lots of planning for that. I have some pictures to share for that.
We made marshmallow paint cans.
Just dip them in water then in the sprinkles.
We also made rice crispy bar paint brushes. We used pre made packaged treats. Add a stick and just dip in chcocolate and let cool. Then dip in colored chcocolate or vanilla almond bark. Let cool and package in individual treat bags with a ribbon.
We also had PB&J paint pallets. I simply made PB&J like I usually would and used an aluminum can to get the shape (just bend in one side) and then I mixed food coloring with a bit of water in a paint tray. I used a straw to punch the thumb hole and a second straw to drop the colors. (By holding my thumb over the end to suction it in the end of the straw) they turned out very cool!

JANUARY promos

I can't even begin to explain how excited I am about this month's promos! Copiaba is one of my favorite oils! This amazing oil is used for pain, stiffness and digestion. It actually works too! I use it the Lemon Dropper bomb all the time.
And spearmint is one I've been dying to get. It's like a less intense peppermint! I'm so excited guys! Go to www.youngliving.com to order or send me a message at www.facebook.com/iamarmedwithoils and I can help you :)

Late christmas presents

So who else gets an extra check from their W2 job this January? Here's an idea on how to spend your extra income. Instead of wasting it on toys and clothes, invest in your family's health by purchasing a premium starter kit. It's a great addition to your house any time of the year.

Skunk spray

Well I got woken up quite early today, the dog got sprayed by a skunk and the baby got up WAY earlier than usual. So I jumped on Facebook and asked my oily friends for advice. Followed by a Google search I decided on Dawn Dish Soap and Purification Essential Oil. I can't believe how much better she smells!
Now having a sleeping toddler and 2 sleeping pups. I would say that is a sucess!

Homemade baby wipes

You will need:
2cups water
Roll of paper towels (select a size)
1 tbsp Baby wash
1 tbsp Oil (I used grapseed, you could also use coconut)
Essential Oils (I used lavender and Melaleuca)
Wipe container (we have a wipe warmer)

Rip up paper towels to smallest size. Fold the wipes in an accordion style.

Put the paper towels folded into a container. (I used a Tupperware container to soak them in before putting them in the wipe warmer)

Boil 2 cups water. Then remove from heat, add 1tbsp oil of your choice, and 1tbsp baby wash. Stir. Add 10 drops each of lavender and melaleuca essential oils. Pour over paper towels. Let sit for a few min and your good to go. And they smell amazing.
